How to overcome Home sickness
What is Home Sickness:
In this tough and busy world everyone at one stage in his or her life has to leave the family and move to another city or country for better future prospects and purposes. A student might leave his family for some years until he gets graduated from the university. A son or a daughter might leave the country or shift to another city after marriage. Or in many cases in order to earn money and make a professional career one of the family members has to leave home and move to another place. In these cases when a person feels lonely and misses his home, the situation is known as “ home sickness”.
Tips to overcome Home Sickness:
If a person is feeling home sick he should not be ashamed of it as he should be proud that he still feels as a part of the family and love the members in the same way as before. However, the nostalgic feelings and depression that a person experience during home sickness can be overcome if he follows these simple tips and tricks.
1) Immediately call home for a chat.
2) Tell the members about your feelings and emotions, and they will certainly give you a motivating response.
3) Write your feelings in a diary or make a journal in order to feel light and good.
4) Try to be active and vigorous in your chores.
5) Discuss your thoughts with your close friend who will listen and soothe your depression.
6) Keep yourself busy and do something that can help you to enjoy and relax for a while.
7) Home sickness is not permanent and is temporary, so the best key to overcome is to be patient until your depression and nostalgia ends.

A friendly dialogue between Trust and Betrayal
One sunny day as I was passing by the street I heard a friendly argument between the Trust and Betrayal who didn’t notice my presence at all……Here is what I recorded……
Trust: Howdy!
Betrayal: Hi!
Trust: How’s your work going Pal?
Betrayal: Its going perfect….People are using me as much as they can and I am becoming popular day by day, and what about you?
Trust: Well, that is really interesting to know, but I am not concerned about how much popular you are because I believe in quality and not quantity.
Betrayal: Hmmm, so this means that you are jealous of my popularity.
Trust: No, I am not jealous but just wondering what kind people admire you and make you feel happy.
Betrayal: I don’t care, what kind of people use me but one thing is for sure that millions of people all around the world are after me.
Trust: Yeah true, corrupt politicians, bureaucrats, cheaters, enemies and liars. On the other hand I am only used by those people who are loyal, friendly, sincere, and honest.
Betrayal: That is true, but these days no one can guarantee the either trait in any one else…
Trust: What do you mean by this?
Betrayal: Sometimes good can turn into bad and bad can turn into good! And that is what the reversal means to human life and world. Nothing can be predicted in this world and no one knows when someone starts using me and stops using you…….So I am on my duty and it is up to the people which quality they want to adopt, Trust or betrayal???

Prescriptive Vs Descriptive Grammar
Descriptive grammar: the systematic study and description of a language. Descriptive grammar refers to the structure of a language as it is actually used by speakers and writers. In syntax, as in modern linguistics more generally, we adopt a resolutely descriptive perspective concerning language. In particular, when linguists say that a sentence is grammatical, we don't mean that it is correct from a prescriptive point of view, but rather that it conforms to descriptive rules. descriptivist approach, on the other hand, examines how people actually use language and reveals the regular patterns that underlie every language and language variety. Descriptivists recognize variation between different groups of speakers. On the subject of double negatives in English, for instance, a descriptivist would say that some groups use them frequently, while other groups use them infrequently or not at all. Descriptivists view language change as inevitable, neither inherently positive nor negative, and they seek to understand what prompts it.
Prescriptive grammar: a set of rules and examples dealing with the syntax and word structures of a language, usually intended as an aid to the learning of that language. Prescriptive grammar refers to the structure of a language as certain people think it should be used.
A prescriptivist approach to language holds that some structures and usages are acceptable and others unacceptable, as codified in grammar books and dictionaries. Prescriptivists would say, for instance, that it is wrong to use double negatives (I don’t know nothing). They are concerned with what they consider correct pronunciations, word meanings, and grammatical structures and they consider departures from prescribed rules and changes in the language to represent language decay.
